Interest:
My name is Rachel Zuckerman and I am an M.Sc. student in the Movement Ecology Lab. My research focuses on the Fan-tailed Ravens in the Judean Desert. My aim is to uncover the relationship between the Fan-tailed Ravens' nesting habits, movement patterns, and personalities in the face of human-induced rapid environmental changes. I am using GPS tracking and in-lab behavioral tests, complemented by extensive fieldwork, to build a comprehensive understanding of this understudied and threatened species in their natural habitat.
