Interest:

I am a Postdoc in the Movement Ecology Lab exploring individual variation in behavioural types and cognitive skills of Corvids (Corvus rhipidurus, Corvus ruficollis, and Corvus corax) inhabiting the Judean desert and Dead Sea area. My project combines experimental work in captive and wild settings together with movement analyses (GPS/accelerometer tracking) and microbiome research.

My past work focused on (1) understanding different aspects of primate navigation in relation to internal and external drivers (i.e., intergroup conflicts, sleeping site selection, seasonality); and, (2) describing a framework to compare animal cognition in the wild through movement patterns.  Ultimately, I aim to integrate inter-individual differences in behavioural types (i.e., personality) and cognitive skills into an inter-species comparative framework for movement ecology.
